Squeaky boots

I wonder if anyone can help. I have a wow saddle and have just treated myself to a pair of MH Classic High Rider boots. Love them both - but the noise they make is driving me mad. They squeak like your wouldnt beleive! My old boots squeaked a little against the saddle but nothing like these. My hacking partner is refusing point blank to ride with me till I get it sorted - it really is that bad!! Any ideas any one?

My boots squeaked really really badly when i first got them, I found they just stopped squeaking after a while when the leather wore in!

A generous dollop of glycerine saddle soap between the boots and the saddle apparently does the trick (I haven't tried it myself but I am assured that it works!)

My boots squeak too - I kind of like it as it makes me aware of how much my legs are moving.

ooh, slight deviant from original topic, but how have you found the fit of the boots? Do they look tres smart?!
