Squeaky saddle

Ok brain boxes why does my saddle squeak? It's a professionally fitted mono flap dressage saddle from a premium manufacturer ... And it squeaks at trot. It doesn't move fits her well... And it has never been dropped etc. it was brand new in November was rechecked fit wise 3 weeks ago and in the last week has started squeaking... Why ? And can I stop it?

Clean it a lot. The soap and oil should stop it. It is not unusual with brand new saddles.

Lots of oil will stop it from sqeaking. My saddle starts when i haven't oiled it for a while

If you mean Neatsfoot Oil, it isn't great to use on tack, will weaken the fibres.

Better off with something like the dressing CremedeMonthe has posted a recipe for on here, or Jeffries Balm (which is made by Sedgewicks, who make some of the best bridle leather in this country).

It's not your boots squeaking on the flaps is it? My long boots squeaked for ages once when I has polished them too much!
