Evening all!!

My young man is bouncing off the walls.

First there was all the snow and, with the baltic temperatures, the snow we have is now solid ice.

So, horse is stabled 24/7 until it is safe to turn them out.

Anyone got any tested means of keeping him occupied? He is never naughty, doesn't bang on stable doors or anything like that but he's got a very sorry looking face on him!

I asked this question last week, a few ideas i have used and seem to have kept my boy occupied are apple bobbing in his water bucket, tie up turnips in stable, bottle tied up that have got honey on them so he licks them off, also been hiding carrots in his haylage. Best thjing is a treat ball though i think or one of those tongue twister licks.

THANK YOU!

Love the apple bobbing idea.

He has a couple of stable toys but I think he's sick of the sight of them

Bordom ball , bobbing apples I'n water
, swede hang up but not to close to wall so he can't eat it quickly
, football ,

I've got the equine distraction aid-you can jam carrots etc into it and it keeps my boy entertained! I think its the best of the stable toys!

I used to use jolly ball the one where you put treats into...with Large swede large haynet...
mine never cottoned onto the apple in bucket...although funny trying to watch them...
