Stable Bandages or Leg wraps

Anyone use them in the winter? which do you prefer?

I use thermatex leg wraps and find them quick, easy and warm. I always wash the mud off my mare's legs in winter, give them a quick towel dry and put the leg wraps on. I leave them on all night and remove them in the morning. I find this system works well for my horse.

I use stable bandages sometimes as my mare's hind legs are prone to filling when she stands in. Depends what you want them to do really - I can't imagine most wraps being firm enough to do what I need them for.

I agree it depends why you need them

I use bandages if any of mine have a problem

I use thermatex wraps for my oldie to keep his old bones warm

I used the colin cook themalux leg wraps but i will also try out my PE stable boots this year.

I use them for warmth on cold night along with a mahoosive straw bed.

have bandages if anything's legs start filling - depends on how much the neds have to be in.
