Going to another yard today which is a feed store too.


I was amazed to see a box rest horse with exercise bandages on.

I have always use the proper ones. mind boggles sometimes why someone would do this.

By excersise bandages do you mean support bandages.
It will totally depend on the reason for bandaging which type to use.

i Know all i was told is the horse is on box rest for lameness i would not use these bandages

I would use exercise bandages (and fibretac or gamgee) for support on a box rested horse. Stable bandages are generally used for warmth in elderly or less mobile horses (IME)
