Stable boots versus bandaging

Anyone use stable boots instead of bandaging at night? Was looking at the verudus ones and the premier equine ones and couldnt decide.


Horse's back legs tend to get a bit puffy when stabled so wanted to try something but would be alot easier if I didnt have to bandage

Opinions? Thoughts?

The Prem equine ones are great for the money, nice and supportive, no pressure points from what I can see, and you can get the magno bits to go in too which I always think is a bonus

Thats true, could get both liners which would be good. Much cheaper than the veredus ones too...

My old boy had the premier equine ones for his puffy back legs and they were fab, really supportive. Would defo recommend them

We always use Thermatex leg wraps.

I bought the magnetx boots from premier equine and I'm very pleased with them (obviously an;t use them overnight). Decided on them so I can also get the "plain" liners for them as well if her legs filling starts getting too much. BTW If you want both the magnet and plain liners, it's cheaper to buy the mugnetx boots and the plain liners (rather than stable boots and magnet liners).

Mine has windgalls too. In winter for warmth I use either, for keeping her windgalls down I use bandages. I generally prefer bandages so tend to use them all the time and Thermatex wraps for drying off after a bath.

I prefer boots as I think they are more difficult to get wrong...sorry is that a double negative? I think bandages can be put on incorrectly to easily and therefore cause pressure points. I use bioflow boots on the back and plan on getting the premier equine or Fal boots for the front this year.
