Sorry if this has been done recently, I'm considering getting a camera for my stable - horse had a nasty virus this week and after spending Monday/Tuesday nights worrying, I'd just like to be able to keep an eye on him if possible.

Needs to use mobile data as no WiFi, and ideally battery but possibly solar if YO allows me to put it up - no mains.

I know of the Reolink and it is on offer, but if I can get away with spending less than £170 I'd like to!

Also, any reviews of using these type of cameras in a small space, do they work well or are they wide angled to cover larger areas?

Thanks :)

Not a lot less but this Reolink is £164. The price does seem to fluctuate on Amazon so it’s worth checking prices now and then. There’s quite often a coupon reducing the price further.

Two of my yard members have these and they can see most of their stables. Night vision is good. I bought the model up that can move between two stables but managed to break the outer lens while setting it on my phone (dropped it in my living room 🙄). I’ve just got to work out how to get a replacement bit of glass and I’ll be putting mine up.

A friend has a cheaper one from Amazon. It uses an app called UBox so that might be the make, I’m not sure. It’s outlasted my Reolink and was much cheaper.

I have an igeek camera, although it’s a wifi one. Picture wise it would probably be better in a stable as the quality isn’t as good over long distance.

AFB, I have a Reolink to sell that I used for only a few weeks. I swapped because I needed one that moves between two stables.
It’s solar panelled and/or battery powered and requires a data plan. Willing to take a drop on price for you if you want it.
