Stable chains

So after the super sports cob decided it would be fun to barge past me the other morning when I was changing his rugs and canter off to the paddock, I have bought a stable chain which I swear I will electrify if he carries on like that :D

Just one question - how do you secure yours on either side of the stable door? Mine is a Shires one with a quick release clip at one end and a standard lead rope clip at the other end

Just be aware my friends horse can limbo under hers,.

I shall be jumping up and down incandescent with rage if he dares to try and go under it ;)
 
I just use heavy duty staples, the sort you fix barbed wire to posts with. . You can buy the haynet ring type things without the ring but I don't know what they are called.
