Stable Height?

How high does a stable ceiling need to be for a 16.1? My stable is really big but the ceiling is low. My 14.2 had no problems in there. But dont know if it would be to low for anything bigger. Its 7ft 6in high & its 18ft x 12ft.

When I was researching stabling for my own place I read that a stable should be about 11ft in height to accommodate the larger horses but I'm not sure whether this is a must or whether you could get a way with less. I only have a section a and a 15hh so I won't be having any porblems sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Wow 11ft thats high!! Wooden stables arent that high are they, Ill have to do abit of research

the standard wooden ones are about 7' - 7'6'' at the eaves, so probs about 10' at the highest point I would say.
Yours should be OK as long as they are well ventilated.

Its well ventilated, its under a french barn type of hay loft, the loft has two open sides.
