I have a pair of bedazzledled lights in the storage area of my stable - I've had them about 7 years, the torch hasn't worked for ages (and it's an old style one so it's massive and bulky!) - but I find being able to take it home to recharge is super handy. I also like that the lights are in series, so I only have to connect the torch when I walk in to light it all up.

Unfortunately the last couple of times I've recharged, the lights have been pretty rubbish. I guess it's coming to the end of its life, so it's time to look for a replacement.

I don't really fancy bedazzled again - they're quite expensive, and I don't need the torch. LEDs are a lot cheaper and more available than when I bought mine.

Can anyone suggest anything? The main features I'd like are -
  • 2 or more lights in series so only one switch!
  • Easily rechargable power source of some sort, so I can top it up overnight

We looked at Bedazzled and really liked the idea, but like you thought they were overpriced (plus they've now been discontinued).
I just bought strip lights from Amazon (about £15 each, have 2 in each 12x24 shelter) and a 12v portable battery pack (about £20-30) which fits in my pocket, so I take that up with me for whilst I want the lights, then it comes back into the house to charge. On/off switch is on the battery pack. I needed something portable as solar panels & large batteries aren't an option.

Aah yes that makes sense - I'd have to find some that connect together, but the battery pack makes sense! Knew those existed, hadn't put 2+2 together :) Thanks, that gives me an idea to start looking.
