stable mirrors

Has any used a stable mirror? I have 2 horses and when I take 1 away for a hack or comp the one left behind goes totally mad she gets herself in a complete state, I wondered if anyone eles has the same problem and what they did about it?
 
I had a problem with a box rest horse that went stupid when the others were turned out .A stable mirror really calmed him down .I got mine on ebay and it was predrilled and came from Leics.
He still loves his friend in the mirror even though he has had it a year now.
Put it on a very flat wall and quite high ,think mine is at 4' ,bottom edge, but will depend on horse size.

Hi Yeah I've got one and I think they are Fab!! Changed my horse completly. Mine was free though through a friend's husband.
 
So glad you posted about this as I am having problems too. I have just moved my horses home and I need to take one away to school and the stabled horse frets so I have invested in a mirror from ebay as well and am awaiting for it to come. Will post again when its up to see if the problem is resolved or better at least! I have paid £25 plus £10 delivery.
 
Hee hee. I think mine would find one of these a complete nightmare. Well she'd have finally found a horse that wouldn't back down and to her joy she could fight with it all night long without causing injury!! Maybe that would stop her being so dominant, but think it would make her miserable.
