Today I have put a deposit on a beautiful 3 year old connemara gelding. His registered name is Ballyrourke Locha. He does not have a stable name.
He is grey, but at present looks more like a blue roan. His head and legs are very dark, his body is steel grey. This picture was taken in January, as his winter fluff comes off he is going darker in the body.
Stable name suggestions would be hugely appreciated!

He is by Rogaire Na Locha who has glencarrig sparrow and rebel wind in his back pedigree.
He is out of Doe Eabha who has Moy Hazy cove and Cloonisle Cashel.
Fingers crossed for your vetting, what breeding does your potential pony have?

Irish ...
Ciaran = little dark one
Darcy = dark one

'Rocky', from Glancarrig (rocky valley).
Lockie

Balach = boy or young man in gaelic or = one with beautiful locks of hair in Urdu

Ooh very nice! 💕 So she’s by Tullra Robuck (Earl of Castlefrench) and Dam is out of Gwennic De Goariva…proper sports pony she isn’t the traditional stamp at all. Keeping everything crossed 🤞

Errin Paddywack -when I first saw him I thought he was Blue roan. However both parents are grey so are all grandparents except one. So thinking he has to be grey. Also the end of his tail is white(ish)! There is one roan in his back pedigree.

Will be fascinating to see how his colour changes. I do hope you keep us informed.
