I am trying to get a stable name plate for my new boy. I have tried contacting Concept Carpentary but get no reply to either e mails or phone calls.

I would like a wooden plate with the name carved out and painted not just name painted on wood.

Perhaps one of you kind chaps could recommend somewhere.
 
These are perhaps not the style you are looking for but I think they're lovely! The lady who makes them is very accommodating so perhaps you can explain what you would like and she can see what she can do! Let me know what you think!
 
I got some brill ones off ebay, think they were 8 quid and made by a lovely retired guy as his hobby, my mum thought they were brilliant, hope he is still going :/
 
What I want is the name carved into the wood then painted. I dont want any pictured on the plate, just the name. Thank you to everyone who responded with your thoughts and ideas.
 
I guess it depends a little on how much you are willing to spend, but is something a wood turner could quickly and easily do. Maybe a quick google search for any close to you.

Sue Stickley on facebook does some beautiful name plates. I think they are £20 each but they are well worth it.
