This little filly needs one! Am thinking about calling her Caramel. Her dam is called Pepsi. She'll be a registered NF pony. I have a registered name already but bit stuck on "pet" name. Any ideas?

My, she is a beauty isn't she! I like Caramel. Honey may also suit her? I imagine Sunny would of looked similar when she was a foal, but with a blaze.

By the way, (thought you may be a good person to ask) do you know at all, if the New Forest Pony Breeding & Cattle Society keep a record of the NFs as foals (as in photos of them in their database)? Silly question I know, but would love to see a photo of S. as a foal, if they do keep photos of them.

Hmm, I'm old enough to remember Pepsi and Shirley :D but I'm not sure I like Shirley for a horse. There's Toffee of course, bit quicker to say than Caramel, but not as pretty. She's very cute!

I know a sweet RS pony called Shirley, sadly getting on a bit now. To add to Fanta/ Sprite, what about Tango? (I had a childhood imaginary pony of that name, lol). I thought she looked a little deer-like in that photo and thought of Bambi (have known of one of those too). Have fun choosing!

Oh wow! Can't think of any better names than the ones suggested, but just wanted to say how lovely she looks. All nice names, although with Caramel, I can't help thinking of the old Caramac bars - I used to love those! She's the right colour for a Caramac :)

I haven't got any ideas for you but If i was choosing a stable name I'd go for a one syllable name as they always seem to get shortened or at least one when shortened still sounds OK. Also think about calling it across a field etc. i honestly couldn't call a horse Twinkle or Star, just a bit too twee for me!

Oh, she's absolutely precious! I think her star looks like a little white flower! What about something like Daisy, Daphne, Jasmine, Poppy, Rosebud, Tulip, Blossom - or Clover, it looks a bit like a clover flower!

I also agree with the Honey suggestions, or maybe something like Shandy, Whisky, Hazel or Cinnamon? (I bet Caramel would end up shortened to Mel, just something to think about if you like that or not) Good luck! She's lovely :)

She is SO gorgeous - Caramel suits but you would probably shorten it ... ... I had a NF called Tango ( Tiptoe Tango ) .... my Haffie/Fjord is a similar colour and called Custard!
Cant wait to see what you choose. X
