I have three rugging options for my horse who is due to be high trace clipped:

1) JUTE RUG (and blankets) of my mum's for in the stable and under his turnout rug (which has no fill) for outside.

2) Buy a stable rug (about 200g?) for stable and under turnout rug (can i do this or will he get too hot?).

3) Buy and underug for underneath turnout rug and can i use this in the stable?

I know i should know but i'm only 16! Thanks for any help!! :)

I wouldn't really want a jute and blankets under a turnout rug. The risk is that they slip then get wet and cold and heavy.

If money is tight I would buy a breathable turnout of 200g-350g depending upon how much he feels the cold and how exposed your fields are. The jute will be fine in the stable or you can use a turnout in the stable. I wouldn't spend money on under rugs if you haven't got a turnout with a fill.

Shires get good reviews, Equestrian Clearance have discounted brands or look for second hand Rambo, Fal, Premier Equine, Weatherbeeta etc.
