Stable sizes

I have two stables one is 8x14ft and the other is 8x9½. I have just bought my little girl a pony 11hh and my cob is nearly 14'3. I am currently using the larger stable for my cob only been on this farm since June so not kept her in overnight, she looks fine in it but how can/will I be able to tell without seeing her lying down?

we have 10ftx14ft stables as apparently are better size for them as opposed to the normal 12x12 mine is 15.2 and the 10ftx14ft seems to suit her ^^ that is her fast asleep in it a couple of days ago i wouldnt really like to go another 2ft narrower tbh due to risk of getting cast :S

My current stable is 8 by 14 ft; my mare is 14hh and can lie in it but I've always been a bit worried about it. Thankfully my new stable block at home will have 12x12 boxes (floor has been levelled ready for concrete on Saturday, yippee!) so will seem relatively huge in comparison.

The 11hh has gone now, however my mare is 14,1ish and is now in the 8ftx14ft but im not sure if she is lying down?

hey, not all horses lie down 8ft by 14ft is ample room for a 14 hand pony, just ensure the bed is stretched out along the longest side xx try not to panic
