Hi All,

Anyone got any tips for keeping smelly boys nice and fresh?

Am starting to feel guilty giving Mr P his (nearly!!!) daily bath!

Hopefully he will be easy to keep nice after his snazzy haircut!

Fire away

We have one thats disgusting in his stable, if we need him clean the next morning he has his turnout rug on overnight instead of normal fleece or stable rug.

He is rugged with a super- duper cover all rug on over the top but he is rather energetic in his stable so still gets covered!

I try and hot cloth him with baby oil to stop the dirt sticking so much but still end up washing him a lot!

Mine gets bits washed nearly every day and will all through the winter. Grooming doesn't get rid of the actual stains, just the muck on top! but then I do own a gray so now have the widest selection of shampoos, neck covers, wraps oh and these year? a snuggy hood with neck and ears and another head hood only. I will win the battle of the mud..(and next horse in will not be gray!)
