My horse is forever getting stable stains and i cant get rid of them other than giving him a full bath, which doesnt always get rid of them! so what are your best tips for getting rid of them??? Crazy ideas welcome, just need to find anything??

Let them dry then rub them with the edge of a groomers stone in the direction of the coat until they disappear :) Saved me hours in the winter and meant that my boy didn't have to get cold for a bath.

OT but I just realised if you google groomers stone a picture of my very muddy horse comes up

Hi, I Have A Grey, Shes Forever Getting Stable Stains, I See That Someone Has Suggested 'Dungaway' Already, I Just Wanted To Let You Know, That Its A Brilliant Thing, It Always Works For Me, Just Spray Some On The Stain And Rub With A Normal Grooming Brush Untill Gone, Its Quick, Easy And Theres No Mess! (: I Fully Recomend This Stuff! It Doesnt Cost Much Either, You Can Get It In A Spray Bottle From Most Tack/Horse Shops!
Hope This Helps

Cowboy Magic for smaller stains, otherwise its a wet sponge and Tresmme. The 'removes deep down, city grime' variety.

Don't let them be - get rid of them, or else they 'stick'.

I have a piebald mare, and the night before a show, she wears a LW waterproof rug, a Tailgator tailbag, and Thermalux leg wraps to keep the feather clean. I also spray her hocks liberally with Showshine - to stop the poo sticking.
