Stable toy suggestions for young and fizzy horse

My young horse has just been put on box rest due to a shoulder injury. I want to provide her with some entertainment, but she's quite tubby at the moment and excitable by nature so I want to avoid using toys that involve food if I can. She doesn't get any hard feed, but is there anything I can do with her hayledge that will keep her amused? Also, she eats an entire salt lick in one night, and I'm not sure if this is a bad thing or not, so have stopped giving her them.
Basically, what I want to know is how do I keep a young and fizzy stable bound horse amused for six weeks? All suggestions will be tried!

Can you pick some nettles, thistles, a branch of hawtorn, plenty of long grass, gorse to give her something more interesting to pick through, my pony had almost 4 months on box rest and I picked as much as I could each day to keep him happy.
