Just been out to say goodnight to Bog and had tears rolling down my face as he was playing with the broom - swinging it about and dropping it and then picking it back up again.

What can I put in his stable for fun - hang a swede from the door? He seems to like picking things up with his teeth so pref. a thing for teeth!!

my mad TB loves his snack ball. I just put in some of his tea and leave him to it. he plays with it for about 3 hours every day. he will pick up branches, brooms brushes infact anything he can get hold of butthe jolly ball was of no interest to him at all. One of my friends bought her horse a Space Hopper and he loved it. Would carry it round the field at speed, bounce in it, kick it with both himds and generally have a ball. well worth trying. And they are tough and have that stupid grin printed on them which makes it even funnier

I have a jolly ball for my youngster, it has a handle on it ( a bit like a space hopper i used to play on all those many moons ago lol

Salt lick, hiding treats around the box? Snack ball? I really wanted to get a Jolly Ball for my TB but someone at my yard said their horse got their leg stuck through the handle - bit dangerous maybe? I still really want to get one though, they look brilliant.

my youngster loves his snack ball - he actually bobs up and down with excitement when he sees it and will play with it for hours. He also has one of those giant apple thigs hanging and runs it up and down the bars like a prison inmate just to annoy all the others.

Another vote for the jolly ball also if you can find one (!) a traffic cone works well ahem.

We throw a selection of Jolly Balls and traffic cones into the school when we turn ours out and they spend hours duelling with the Jolly Balls and jousting with with the traffic Cones.

I tried the snack ball with Vardi but he got so frustrated with it that in the end he just stomped on it till it gave up the food inside....Patience is not his thing!

i cut apples up and put in his water bucket he loves apple bobbing although he has it off to a fine art now and gets them all within about 3 mins lol he has no interest in his jolly ball its sits in the corner and acts as a poo collecter now !!!
