come on, spoil me for choice!! Home made or shop bought.

we already have a snackball for trickle feeding of fibre nuts, but what about other toys?

Nothing that has to be suspended by a roof beam mind, as I'm not quite sure the roof would hold if he grabbed it

.

We've done apple bobbing "That's soo last year" ponio says. And we've done swedes on ropes... any fresh ideas??

Go to charity shop and buy old Fisher Price toys which squeak or pop open. Affix to stable using screws and sit back and watch the fun.

Fix a tyre to the wall and fill it his feed/HiFi mixed with carrots/whatever. Put it high enough that he has to work to get the feed out. Make a hole in the bottom so you can wash it out...or hang two or three of them..

Chancer has a snack ball, tongue twister, holder with a ball hanging from roof and salt lick. I also have an old rope for him to chew - but it is made clear this is the only one to be chewed.

He also has a space hopper for when turned out in the school which has to be put so it has to be "stolen" first and then run off with.

In the field he has several logs to kill and his pet pheasant to round up.

Cairo adores a loaf of bread left to go rock hard and then hung off the wall. I also occasionally hide carrots in the hay net.

An old welly can be filled with nuts and coated with black treacle - very messy but give lots of fun and games for them.

Mare next door has the ultimate stable toy - he is a mini shetland x fabella called Treacle - so cute!
