which ones are best?

i dont want to be fiddling with bandages but i would also like him to have them on, magnetic ones are even better but which ones are the best?

thannkksss all :)

I use Equi-Chaps. They are easy to put on and prevent my boys legs from filling up when he is stabled. They aren't magnetic but they definitely do a good job and I would recommend them. :)

I use thermatex stable wraps on Bertie to help prevent chapping / mud fever after I rinse his legs off in the winter. They are really good at drying his legs and keeping them warm all night. I still feel so guilty when I hose him off with icy water on the freezing cold days but the alternative is mud fever :(

Thermatex leg wraps are excellent. You don't need to hose legs off to use them, they will still dry the legs off if they are muddy. Then in the morning you can brush the dried mud off and put whatever barrier stuff you may be using onto their legs. Have a couple of sets of Thermatex so you can have one in the wash/drying and the other one on the horse. We do this and have never had mud fever with any of our horses touch wood.
