i am looking to go to loughborough university in september 2014 and was wondering if anyone knows of any stables quite near to the university, preferably easy going and part livery.

i used to live in Loughborough, lots of options but i cant think of any off the top of my head that are within walking distance of the university, and public transport isnt always the most reliable!
Markfield Equestrian Centre does Assisted (feed/turnout in mornings) and Full (excluding riding), but you can also select additional services. You have places like Bowleys in Normanton on Soar which is a lovely yard, primarily DIY but they also offer services i believe, but normally has a waiting list so you would need to get in contact with them as far in advance as possible. There are lots of other very small livery yards in places like Woodhouse, Quorn, Hathern and the surrounding villages, but i dont know much about them i am afraid.
Either way, without a car you are going to struggle.

East leake have a few yards around and gotham that is easily accessible from the number 1 bus which runs regularly. Theres part livery at woodside farm atm I used to be there and they have a fantastic school now worth a try.
