Stables In Sheffield??

Hi!
I've recently gone to university in Sheffield and want to bring my horse up!

I'm living near the city centre and crookes areas.
I'm going to view Stubley Hollow Farm tomorrow, but can anyone suggest any other yards for me to look at!? preferably closer to where i am!!

Welcome to sunny Sheffield !. The ones nearest to you in Crookes would be Clough Fields. They are just down the road towards Walkley. there are also a number of small yards out towards Stannington/Loxley area which is also on your side of town.

On the South West of the City there are some in the Mayfield Valley, Ann Barbers or Katie Fransworths at Dore.

All are different, depends if you need all year turnout or not, access to resaonable hacking or indoor/outdoor school.

Clough Fields has both indoor and outdoor, but limited hacking and turnout.

i'm not too fussed about good hacking, just need a sand school big enough for jumping
i looked clough fields up in the yellow pages, but whenever i've rung it's always gone to answerphone, do you have a number for them please?
do you have any contact details for the ones in mayfield valley or dore?

oh and i need to be able to get there via tram/bus/walk! any distance up to about an hour is fine though
