Stables, what would you have?

I have PP to have a block of 3 wooden stables put up, I was going to have 3, 12 x 14, but have recently thought that may be 1, 12x12 1,12x14 & 14x16 on the end, might be better? This means my base will still be the same size.

I have 2 large horses, 16.2 +, I also have an old mare (33)who may not be with us by the time the stables go up, but she lives out in 12 x 24 field shelter any way, thought eventually when she is no longer with me, that would become a hay store! & a pony.

what would you have?

I think I'd go for the 3 different sizes , more flexible.

I would go for the three different sizes - ultimately they are all big enough to hold a horse.

I would go with the varied sizes if you can, we have 3 12x12's and while they are fine for the ponies and the 15hh lad they really are too small for my big 17hh girl. we have an 18x12 starage barn and even that could be tice the size lol, amazing what you find to fill them with

i have 2 14x14 but i use it as one stable

I think the second option is best. Plus I would go for wider doors (broodmare size). I also have removeable partitions in mine so my 16.2 has a double box.
