Stabling for BE events-do you get confirmation before?

If you send in a stabling form with SAE, I guess its logical they send you the SAE back with the details of the stabling? Do you get this as soon as they ballot or much later?
If you enter online and do your stabling that way, do they send you a confirmation or anything? Do you just assume you have a box and turn up with all your stuff for the night?
I've only stabled over once before and West Wilts were kind enough to give me a box at very short notice (on the day) so haven't ever done it properly!

You normally get back confirmation of where you are stabled (i am assuming there is no on-site stabling). For Scottish events this is usually arrives the week prior to the event and gives you details of your host and the telephone number to ring to get directions. Assume the same system works in England!

Normally they'll send details of stabling back with your confirmation of entry, which you get in the post a few days before the competition. If it doesn't arrive with the entry confirmation ring the organiser/entries secretary.

I have had a few instances when it only arrived the day before we leave so don't panic util at least three days prior to leaving.
