Stabling with professional eventer in Gloucestershire/Wiltshire area ?

I know there are quite a few, but if you had to choice to stable your horse with a professional eventer in either of these areas, who would it be?

Laura Collett/Jay Halim springs to mind?

They would ride your horse say 2-3 times a week and possibly compete it occasionally.

Good lord there are hundreds round here, cannot move without bumping into one!

Within 10 miles of me is Julie Tew, Chris King, Chris Hall, Jonty Evans, Nick Guantlett and Will Miflin.

No idea how you'd pick - probably on price, facilities and whether they gel with the horse.

You should take in account the size and type of the horse as well as the height and weight of the rider. Also you would need to make sure that they would ride the horse to improve it for you rather than ride it for themselves - therefore they would have to have seen you ride the horse so they can help.
Make sure they have time for your horse - a permanent ride would probably take priority - and then of course the temperament of the horse must suit the rider. Some are more suited to lazy horses and some to more blood types, some of course get on with both.

Doing a fab job and absolutely lovely!
I don't think many other riders would take the time to ring the owner just after a good schooling session to share the good news!

If you look at the Winters website they seem to have had a lot of experience with having people stable their horses with them and preparing them for the owners to compete. That seems to be the standard thing in the states.
 
Have to say Jay Halim is lovely and does genuinely care abot the horses and their well being. Their new yard is beautiful as well!!
