Hi all, interested to know peoples thoughts

My 2 year old ID who will be 3 next May is currently on grass livery a 20minute drive away. I’m very fortunate to have my other horses at home and originally I was planning on bringing her home next spring

I would like to bring her home sooner as it’s hard juggling work and seeing to her and my others.

At home mine are stabled are night in winter so My main reason to leave it until the spring was because I really didn’t want to stable her at night as a 2 year old. Am I over thinking this? She’s such a laid back mare I don’t see a problem her being stabled, it’s just I was trying to give her time to be a baby and not shut in a stable ever night in the winter
I would be interested in others thoughts!?

don't understand why a youngster can't be stabled overnight. She is going to have to learn to as an adult presumably. My youngsters are stabled overnight in winter from weaned foals because that is what the rest of my horses do. I think you are over thinking it.
