Staffordshire people... Chillington Estate nr. Brewood?

Does anyone know if you can still pay an annual subscription and ride around the Chillington Estate near Brewood?

I know there is a fun ride at Chillington but not sure about the 'toll ride'.

I think the Albrighton Hunt organise the fun ride, not sure when it is though.

There's one at Codsall Wood in May though if that's fairly close to you too?

The albrighton fun ride round chillington is usually in about september i think

Don't think the toll ride still exists but you can use the bridle paths round there anyway. They were very boggy though in all weathers!

It's a shame the bridlepaths are boggy, I'm hoping to do lots of hacking and exploring!!

theres still lots of places can go - hattons is good and if you have transport quite often people go over cannock chase for day - only 15 min drive there. if no transport am sure could get a lift.

palomino pony is on my yard and alot of us go over chase so if no-one up yours does you could always come along with our lot - am sure this summer they will be going alot!!!! - some ppl go during daytimes as retired ladies! or like me have days off in week, and some on weekends for normal working people.

Think I'm probably too far from you guys, but I'll be really cheeky anyway, just in case. If anyone is going out hacking (or anything else!) and has a spare space in the box and doesn't mind having an extra horse is there any chance French and I could tag along? Am more than happy to cover all petrol costs etc

Just had a look Vallin and you're 31 miles / 40 mins away from us. I haven't got my own transport but will keep you in mind though. Why not start a thread on here about sharing transport to shows etc. local to you?
