Ah right. Thats a bit better then. I (obviously :p ) no nothing about stag hunting, assumed there would be a group of 100 or whatever that they rotated.
Still seems a tad pointless to me though as here deer are a pest and so shooting them controls the numbers... to chase something and then breed from it seems a bit odd. :)
Do any actually die on the hunts? As that would surely muck up the conservation aspect!
 
Please read back through previous posts and your questions will be answered,if the stags are only hunted the once Druid ,I cannot seee for the life of me any objection. After all,if the irish red deer is endangered ,and this is a reason and aid to conservation then surely it is beneficial to the deer.

I find this very interesting, i wouldnt particularly be anti hunting if this really were the case! What i can never get my head around is all the cruelty in the inner core of hunting.

Why is it right to catch foxes in cages, transport them to another hunt miles away, then release them? This is why i really wish people that hunt would say, i hunt because i love chasing something to its death?? But if you do hunt for the ride, which most people do, you have to believe in your mind it is all about 'pest control'.

And i have first hand evidence of the above. Its not pest control it is a sport. Stag hunting is even worse, oh pest control again lol!

Just out of interest, would you set your dog loose, and wait for it to be mauled to death, or your horse? Bottom line to me its no different. I dont want an argument, but to me its so black and white!
