Hi all an anyone help me with my search for a stallion?!

I have a 16.2 7/8th tb x WB mare I'm thinking about breeding from.

She's quite a big rangey mare real old fashioned chaser type, slightly croup high but lovely paces (think this is the only wb bit she has in her!) Im not really fussed about the stallion's breeding or what discipline he's excelled in but something with good temp nice short coupled and uphill and a nice head.

Foal will be a keeper, i love dressage & low level eventing (no bigger than BE 100) so was initially looking along those lines but fee wise I don't really want to spend ££££ on a stud fee as I think for what I want there must be nice stallions out there for £5/6/700 ish?

If I'm being really picky I'd love the chance of having a grey, but everything else takes preference over colour obviously!

Decisions decisions! Unfortunately I'm the most indecisive person ever so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I love Mooiman. Used him to breed my 'one-off' foal of a life time and went back for 2nds & 3rds. Sadly lost number 3 at 7 weeks old but still have the other two. Oldest is under saddle and proving to be very trainable and talented without murdering her amateur rider (me) who doesn't have time to ride every day. he seems to cross really well on TB types as I have two friends with offspring from similar crosses, both doing really well under saddle.

Mare is a 16hh 7/8TB 1/8 New forest Pony, old fashioned national hunt TB lines so a bit chunkier than some of the modern TBs. I bought her unbacked, did a bit of everything then competed up to Inter I with her.

Mixed bag album I'm afraid but chestnut foal and youngster is the first one, the bay is her Mum. Filly was reserve champion at her KWPN keuring

more of the filly, the old chestnut under saddle is her uncle. Don't have any up to date pics of her being ridden uploaded - something I need to amend

the colt - was supposed to sell him but kept him after losing number 3. He scored a high first premium at his futurity and I'm running him on as a potential stallion.

Colt again at 2yo
Bay mare being sat on is his Mum aged 23yo and just coming back into work after blowing a tendon in the field.

First filly is very much dressage, although she can jump. My trainer is a list 1 judge and even she goes WOW! at her canter. Colt is a good mover as well but looks as though he will have a really good pop (he used to jump our arena boards for fun as a foal) - my trainer wants to steal him. They all have fab temperaments - pics of the colt loose and on the box were taken when I took him to a local EC to do some work to prep him for the futurity. Strange box, on my own and he loaded no bother. Unfazed by all the busyness at the EC and perfectly mannered which is some going for a 2yo entire who had been stuck in due to bad weather.

Have a look at sylvester.

Hes grey and throws some great youngstock. if you check out the futurity gradings he is ranked as one of the highest scoring sires. Apparently his temperament is amazing

Hes one that would be on my list to use, if i was to breed again.

Hi have you thought about an American Paint Horse. My own stallion has the most wonderful, kind and calm temperament which he passes to all his foals. He is guaranteed to throw colour, is 15.2 and has the most beautiful head. You can tell I'm besotted with him!!!
