Hi, I'm new to the H&H forums and am not sure if this is the right place to post but here it is..
I was wondering if anyone had any advice on choosing an event stallion?
The mare in question is a 15.2hh 4 year old TB; she's got lovely elastic paces, active hocks and a brave jump. My only reservations are her typical TB flattish feet (improving all the time as they were completely neglected when I first bought her) and this is something i want to improve on. I want to have a foal out of her now before starting a competative career, to let her mature at her own pace and not push her too young. She's by indian danehill (NH) out of a rainbow quest mare.
I know breeding is an expensive task and must be mad
as am putting my golden heights mare to mill law this year.. I dont do things by halves!!
Basically I'm looking for a stallion that will add a little substance and height to my mare.. open to suggestions!
Many thanks in advance!
Ps cant figure out how to put a photo on so you can get a better idea.. bit of a technophobe..
