Hello!
Thanks to everyone's advice last year, I bred my 17yo maiden mare AI using the stallion Danny Kannan, and I am really pleased with the beautiful filly she has just delivered!! Everything went so well (textbook conception, pregnancy and labour!) and the mare and foal are doing so well we have decided to breed again!!
I am hoping to breed an all rounder family horse, but with greater ability in SJ/Eventing. I jump myself, but I like the horses to have the braveness from eventing stock! I also need the horse to move well as my mare is slightly on the forehand so I need to eliminate this! As we will keep the foal, it has to have a fantastic temperament to be kept on a farm with dogs/cats/kids running around...and easy for everyone to handle!
I don't really want to use the same stallion again, as I like to have variety in my yard! Can anyone recommend a stallion for me to consider?
I'd upload a photo of my mare...but I have absolutely no idea how to!! She has good bone, so wouldn't want anything too chunky. Height preferably 16.1-16.3hh.
Thank you!

What is your budget??

Off the top of my head a couple of suggestions to match your criteria would be:
Caretino Glory
Carousel
Lord Luis
Sula Blue

Biased, having had four out of him, but Zenturio at findon stud http://www.findonstud.co.uk/ or I am using Thorn from there for a variety!!!

My 4yo by him
watch
when she was being lightly backed as a 3yo.

Add to that a temprement to die for, and everybody adores her.....

Another one that I have used, and am delighted with the result is Amoureux, at solaris, he is really lightening stock, getting light uphill paces, his first years youngstock are just coming out ridden, and have many wins in hand. he shows a super jump as well.
Ros is really helpful and has been a total brick with questions that i have had, even concerning youngstock not by her stallions x

Hello,
We have a lovely stallion at Talbot sports horses. Coloured 16.1. Has competed Internaitonally BS , up to elementary BD and has won at county level showing. Bold as brass took him round the derbys at hickstead and loved it so definately would breed you eventer! lovely chilled out stallion with impeccable manors. We offer Natural covering aswell as AI. So if you are trying to keep costs down natural is of course the cheaper option. in his breeding he has Baloubet du rouet, Darco, Ladykiller , samber and langraf.

Here is video of him jumping round at hickstead : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YBck01TKg9k
