Does anyone have any information on the Rohdiamant son Rosenburg? I think his dam is called Kalinka and he was graded with the BWBS. Thats about all I know...does anyone know more about him?
I want to look at a son of his & was amazed that I couldn't find more out but this is what I did track down....
Champion at BWBS grading, he did well in young horse classes in the UK & was owned by Irene, who worked with Suzanne Davies, at UK Hanoverians. He has since been sold to America where he is competing with an adult amateur but not at public stud.
No pics though, Ciss should know more! Have you purchased a youngster by him then?
Thanks for that. I have a 2 young mares by him I bought almost 2 years ago, and tried at the time to find out more about him without any success, so I thought I'd try here.
what's the dam lines on your mares?? the colt I saw was lovely, my only concern was him going over height for FEI pony classes, otherwise I would have bought him.

Not much more I am afraid. I didn't see him at grading but I did see him once when I visited Stephen Hobbs at Alvescot (where Oddysseus stood, see another current thread ) and he also competed with success in the Young Horse Evaluations where I think he was dressage champion in its second year so I saw him under saddle several times too. He was a very attractive looking horse although slightly long in the back and hooves a little long and narrow (shallow heels) and he had a delightful rdieable temperament (as many R's do) but IMHO he was a little small and lacked masculinity *for a stallion*. Also although he was champion at his BWBS grading he was very much under the shadow on DiMaggio at that time and I think only got about 10 mares compared to DiMaggio's 70+. IOW, probably an ideal horse for an American amateur dressage rider but not really a powerhouse in stallion terms.
