I am hoping to put my wonderful mare in foal this year for various reasons. This will be her first foal. She is 7years old and approx 17hh by Lostock peregrine.

She has the most fantastic temprement and is very easy and trainable.

I am fortunate enough to be able to guarantee a home for life for her foal so the foal is not to sell on.

I don't want a big foal so I would prefer to find a smaller stallion being only 5'3" myself.

The one thing I would like to improve is her movement, so would prefer a stallion with flashy and correct movement. I also don't want a Stallion that is too fine, Is there a perfect daddy out there for us? http://www.horseandhound.co.uk/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

Go have a look on the SPSS website

I have seen some beautiful stock out of larger mares by elite stallion Caesar 171, he also has a son LE Chiffre who is winning in affiliated dressage and is BSJA assessed. Even if you don't go for either of them it would be worth speaking to Bev as she has experience of using smaller stallions to 'downsize' the offspring.
