Any stallion suggestions gratefully received.

I'm not new to breeding, but have had a few years off so am rather out of the loop when it comes to some of the newer sires around.

My mare is 15.3hh chestnut tobiano WBxTB who has retired from eventing due to injury. Ideally I'd like to use a coloured sire to maximise my chances of a tobiano foal as my mare is definately only heterozygous tobiano but I would consider a nice solid stallion too. I'm aiming to add one or two inches of height so looking at stallions between 16-16.2hh of a modern type. Must move well and WBs only please.

Currently top of my list is Amour G but I've not 100% settled on him yet and would like to hear of any other suggestions.
 
Glenhill Gold, as Horsenut has suggested, is certainly one to think about as he is currently competing at 3 star eventing and doing well.

Other than him, I would suggest Sambertino (whose progeny are doing well in all spheres), Goshka Ringo (Amour G's sire and also homozygous thus definite coloured baby) or Sempers Spirit (again homozygous and a very talented young stallion....I have a mare in foal to him for next year.)

For solid coloured stallions, one I would highly recommend is El Thuder who stands at Brendon Stud in Pyecombe. He is a very modern athletic WB with a high % of TB blood in him. I have bred two foals by him myself and am thrilled with the result, with one foal in particular (out of a WB mare)being a super event sort and being retained as a stallion prospect.

His competition career has been delayed due to me being broken but will be back on track very shortly. In the meantime I have been lucky enough to find myself a lovely young girl to develop the jumping side, who rides him very nicely. He is showing a very sensible and willing attitude to his new job and will also go x-country schooling when the weather improves.
As soon as I can get myself a decent camera, the website will be updated with recent photos and videos.

definitely Stanhopes Didicoy. Amazing temperament, competed Intermediare dressage, show jumped 1m 30 easily, can be ridden by anyone, a total gent. Plenty of advanced eventers by him too, with a few competed up to 3 star level. good size as well. stands hobgoblins stud
 
www.thejaysstud.co.uk we stand Drumhowan Cavalier - he is elite graded with BSPA, went champion at CHAPS grading, Grade B showjumper,(placed 3rd in National Amateur Championships) and had huge success in the show ring. Temperament and manners second to none.

looking for a rider to start his dressage career if there are any takers
