Stallion suggestions please

I saw Millenium yesterday and he is looking superb. I have never met him before so was lovely to see him. It is his birthday on Tuesday and another magazine is doing a birthday spread for him (not mine I hasten to add so not advertising) but we will also be putting one on for him as well, I think he deserves it

Nat 1003 posted ... Have you looked at Keystone Rhondeo or Dimaggio? I especially like Rhondeo but not sure what sort he throws.

Rhondeo, unfortunately isn’t regestered, han / kwpn / west.

Just out of interest why are you specifically wanting Hanoverian, KWPN or Westphalian?

Not in the UK, but just another one to throw in - i have a gorgeous 2yr old by Johnson KWPN (Jazz x Flemmingh). Hes got a super tempremant (only had him gelded 3weeks ago and purely because i would never use him as a stallion) and a lovely straight action. Hes VERY quick to learn, picks things up within about 5mins of me ''teaching'' (honestly!). If you look in my profile there are some pictures in an album of him.

Dimaggio youngsters are very sharp IMO, i personally would not choose him as a sire. All the ones i have known have had serious ''issues''....

Twelmlows have just got the uk covering rights for Totilas to approved mares only also Demonstrator is there and he has a fabulous temprament also Wolkenderry is there so it may be worth your while having a chat with Tullis they are very helpful and patient. Good Luck

Millenium unortunately did not cover until his retirement at 18 and so his eldest progeny are I believe only 3 yr olds. He has hwoever, even though starting so late, proven himself an awesome sire of young,promising horses, especially eventers....siring Time Line - highestscoring eventer in the futurity series last year( I believe) as well as other high 1st Premium stock.

I know the owner of Time Line well, in fact my retired chap is currently time line's companion/nanny. I haven't seen any other of Milleniums stock but this young colt has the most amazing temprement and based on what I have seen I would not hestitate to look at Millenium for myself in the future.

Just out of interest why are you specifically wanting Hanoverian, KWPN or Westphalian?

The mares in all 3 stud books, so if she has a foal with a Hanoverian, KWPN or Westphalian stallion, It'll be a pink papered foal.
