The mare is a 16.3hh ISH and is slightly long in the back and is slightly straight hocked but otherwise is a cracking sort
(This is all if I don't manage to sell her and decide to keep her).

Either UK based or European is fine
Not bothered about wheather it's Holst/Hann/Sf etc but it needs to be fashionable (I know you w't be able to tell what will be fashionble in a few years time but something that will remain popular) but I would be aiming to breed a few good 1.30m horses that I can easily sell on if need be.

Stallys I like the look of but don't know what they're like confo wise are things like Quattro, Lord Z, Emilion, LOVE Air Jordan Z, Indoctro etc but I have no idea if any of those will suit.

You would pick the most expensive one, wouldnt you :P
Ask them for a DVD and brochure, gives you more detail

what about verdi or singapore? both lovely young stallions.

''Verdi has a beautiful conformation and has very long lines, as well as very good movement, in walk, trot and canter. Also important is his very nice and easy character. Verdi is a tall stallion with a size of 1.72 cm. who jumps with a lot of scope and shows a lot of technique at the jump. Verdi has everything to become the jumper sire of the future, both because of his type and because of his jumping ability.''

singapore might not have enough blood for your mare.

Fashionable:

Air Jordan Z - Has gone red hot in the UK this year
Dollar du Murier - likewise
Kannan - has been hot for a couple of years in the UK and his kids are selling for big bucks. He's also the most represented in the FENCES Elite sale in September.
Corofino - father of Russell II and Corlato
Mr Blue - his kids are very looked for in Europe (even though he's dead)

More importantly, they are all very proven, so will be fashionable for some time.

Send your contacts to info@zangersheide.co.uk and you'll get a dvd and catalogue.

I totally agree with Air Jordan Z!! Excellent choice! Also Corofino and Lord Z (or..
There is also the stallions at Klatte such as Armitage...the choice is endless really...some more....
Clinton I - sire of Zangersheide's Clintissimo Z and also full bro to the dam os Levisto Z at Zangerseide.
Cornet Obolensky
There is also Sam R (Mermus R x Abgar x Wagner) who is a big boy at 1.74m or Namelus R...see them at: http://www.roelofsstal.nl/horse/73/2/6/Sam_R.html
Klatte still have limited (although likely not to be very good) Argentinus semen available or you can just go with one of his somes like Air Jordan Z or Armitage.
Baloubet or Balou du Rouet are always popular.
I also love Landor S - he was the sire of L'arc de Triomphe who sold for a record sum at Fences a few years ago so definately marketable.

Once you start researching it the list will go on and on...is this for this year or next?

MFS Vision ticks all but one of your boxes and the box he doesn't tick, he does when he moves!! I think he'd suit her down to the ground!

The general view of Air Jordan Z and his offspring, is that "no-one's ever seen a crap one". Now, that is anecdotal but too many breeders have said this for there not to be some fire behind the smoke.

They all have super movement, great looks and seem to have a uniform jump. They are all very commercial.

Crown Amazonite. Not a WB - but an advanced eventer.

We have a super little foal at my yard by him this year.

Air Jordan Z, Chippendale and Clintissimo Z and Balougran Z would be my short list from Zangersheide

Other stallions i would like to use would be Verdi, Corland, Renkum Valentino.

Good luck with the search!

If looking at purely Zangersheide stallions and one of your main prerequisites is that the stallion must be a big boy then I would say Air Jordan Z, Chippendale Z (wow can this horse jump and he is HUGE!), Asca Z, Taloubet Z, Chicago I Z. Of these I would say my personal preference would be Air Jordan, Chippendale and Asca Z.

oohh, now Chippendale Z I like

Also Taloubet Z and Untouchable Z are to die for! Now am I being thick or are they actually that cheap?

I'm not specifically looking for a Zanger stallion (as I said in an earlier thread I also have my eye on Quattro, Indoctro and Emilion)

hi, i have a 3 year old stallion by air jordan z and he is amazing, really well behaved, hes very good looking, easy to handle, just started riding him and had no problems breaking him, he covered his first mare yesterday and was very well behaved and calmed down as soon as the mare walked off. i would advised putting your horse to air jordan, it may be expensive nowadays butdefinately worth it.
