Stallions- thought please

A SJer/eventer.
Mare isn't very competive so needs a stallion that is.
Slightly long in the pasterns.
She has a lovely short back, for a mare and good comfo except the pasterns.

My coach has two by condios and they are beautiful, breathtaking to watch, nice to do and really sane, only just did a little with them last year but I think one of them had the best marks at a BE event in the intro, but she was HC because she has ridden advanced. I can highly recommend if these 2 are anything to go by.

Condios - me and Boss are sat here salivating over him

oh believe me i tried kidnapping him!! my friend used to groom him so i used to bring him for handwalks and stuff!! unfortunately they always made sure i brought him back!

I would prefer a standing picture rather than the jumpng one. Can't really see their faults otherwise.
Have you considered Baron de Chantepie? Selle Francais standing in Ireland, we are totally thrilled with the mare we bught by him, so much so we plan to go back later this year to source a couple more to bring on and sell.
Talking to other people they seem to have a very trainable temperament, and if you go on the sports horse irish site he has had lots of offspring jumping and eventing.

There's a link on the webpages to their stud cards that have standing pics of them.
Not seen Baron de Chantepie will look him up.

Condios looks fabulous - though not entirely convinced by the confo pic - withers back area look ...... I dunno, can't put my finger on it. As tallented as he obviously is though, not sure it would bother me, plus it's only one pic!

Cevin Z is FAB!! I worked with him for a while and I considered using him, but I didn't want a grey.

Hi everyone,

I'm delighted to see the discussion about my stallion Condios. I don't want to violate the anti-advertising rule so if anyone would like to email me with questions I'd be happy to chat with you.

hello Tom, welcome to the forum, I hope you will forgive me for directing people towards Baron de C, I do like your stallion as well!
Your blog is really interesting and informative, and I urge forum members to take a look.
There are a lot of people breeding horses on here from stud owners to single mare breeders, and I have learned a lot from their experiences.
I'm a small breeder breeding for a specific market in that I 'm not attempting to breed a world class horse, as they also need world class riders, but ordinary nice horses who suit owners with just one horse but who want some fun competing a trainable tough horse.
We started with Knock Boy bloodlines and over the years have evolved into crossing the ID x TB with Belgian x TB, these horses seem to have kept the jumping abilty but become more trainable than the ones with more ID in them who often proved hot rides...
Our greatest pleasure is seeing the young horses develop and progress which makes the expense and occasional heartbreak worthwhile.
Do keep returning here, it's a friendly place.
