<u>Huge huge thanks</u> to everyone who has donated and joined, or promised to join, the BHS. I can't tell you how much we appreciate it and also what a difference having more members will make to the work that we can do.
Obviously the main issue here is the horses - I see that SlinkyUnicorn (who was great yesterday and must have been with the horses for about 14 hours) has given an update on the horses this morning and I don't really have anything useful I can add to that. They are fine though and settled so we can all be pleased with a job well done I think. Lots of people have asked to be kept informed of their progress and we will do what we can but obviously there are restrictions on what can be made public. For now, I promise you that they are happy and safe which is the main thing.
Appallingly last night I forgot to thank Andy and Chloe (my only feeble excuse is I was exhausted) so thank you to them for their prompt action and paticularly to Chloe for the cups of tea. I am trying at the moment to sort out a slightly more substantial thank you for them.
I have had a million PMs, a couple about problems with joining the BHS online. To those people I have reported your concerns and you can find more info here:

Been a member of BHS for some years, glance through the mags, but this case has made all subscriptions worth it and you also get idemnity cover as part of the deal!!! Go on everybody you know you want to join up and persuade your mates

And if you are a taxpayer then Giftaid your money as Gordon Brown will add another 25% (isnt it nice to get something back from the gov) to any donations/membership

Oh that report is stupid!
I know it's not a huge paper but the location being printed is ridiculous (however, they may not have been told, if the weren't told, maybe they should be and they can edit it?)
And once again, RSPCA look like the only ones involved and even though they played a part, BHS should be mentioned

I have just read the stamford mercury via internet and it does name where thay have gone.....ARGGGGHHHHH!!!
