Star dog has gone all sensitive all of a sudden??

We've got a 14 month old GSP bitch. She's a lovely doggy but she keeps going all pathetic, almost timid when she thinks she going to get told off - even if she hasn't done anything wrong!

We got her in April and she didn't used to give a sh*t when she got told off, but since we have got little Alfie the Border Terrier she seems to have gone all sensitive? He's not quite got the hang of not pooing in the house and when we find it Star runs off to a different room and starts shaking!!!

I'm worried that grumpy house mate or OH have really told her off and frightened her when I've been out?? Or maybe it's just because she respects us more now and doesn't want to be in trouble??? What do you guys think?? I don't want her to be scared!!

Not much help but Aunts harly Dane was the same, breeder is a family friend and very reputable so it was not bad treatment at any point,just how he was.

He was one of a pair,maybe it's like a child regressing a bit?

Aww, her ears are very stroke-able!

She's really confident most of the time, it seems just be with the wee and poo thing that she gets upset. Alf pinched Dans Minstrals earlier off the sofa arm and got told off and she wasn't bothered then, she must just think "oh no - he's done a poo!!! I'm getting out of the way in case they think it's me!!!"

It was poo with Zack too, although he had done it and damn well KNEW it was him!
All I EVER saw my Aunt do was look dissapointed and softly say "ohhhh wacky boy" but he ran for his life every time.
Odd creatures.

Yea he's settled in great!! He's a cheeky little fecker! Think he's got little man syndrome!

He thinks he's dead clever when we go to the park - spends all his time chasing Star and all the other big dogs round balking at them!

Pmd u re- the pooping

Maybe OH or house mate have yelled at ALF for pooping, when u where not there and she now assosiates his poop with someone yelling or making a threatning movement if they have jumped up to grab him in mid flow

If this happens agin.....follow the PM instructions re ALF nd if STAR starts to cowar dont make a big deal....just slip her a treat and a quick stroke on the head for reassurance.
