So the big lump doesn't seem to have gone down at all, We've got an appointment with the vet this evening.

I can't believe that we've only just got Buffy sorted with her tumor and now Star has got a lump as well!!

I'm trying to stay positive until I kind out what it is... could just be nothing - right?

Thanks guys.

Well we have been to the vets, he said he he couldn't rule out it being a tumor but he thinks given her age, the fact she is well in herself and it has come up so quickly, he thinks it's more likely to be an infection or a foreign body. He asked if she plays with sticks - which she does all the time, and he thinks she might have injured herself with one.

Anyway she's going in tomorrow morning so he can have a good look in her mouth and do something involving a needle so he can find out whats in the lump.

So, all sounds quite positive... hopefully all will go well tomorrow.

Well she is back from the vets. She is very wobbly and feeling sorry for herself! she is asleep in my bed now.

They still don't know what it is. they were hoping it might be some kind of injury caused by a stick but it isn't. They drained a load of "blood red fluid" (I'm thinking blood??) from it and are sending it off to the lab to test for abnormal cells and infection. They think it is something to do with her Lymph gland??

We have to go back next week to find out... they still think it is more likely to be an infection than anything else..
