Well had my 'usual' back lady to see Star sat night after the problems we've been having and sure enough she found problems, which in a way its a good thing as atleast then there is a reason for her behaviour...

Outcome was she had very sore hind muscles and right sacrilliac which in turn was still causing her to be sore/tight upfront as she couldn't use herself properly. Said the last back person should have really picked it up at the same time when she did her neck/shoulders!!! So F spent about 45mins massaging and manipulating and said she should be much better now - said it would explain why she wouldnt want to work forwards or track up etc and also why she is being soo agressive!!! Sooooo had to walk her out on Sunday (went on a light plod along road) then to carry on with normal work/lunging and trying to build her hind muscles up again, so more road work also....

Fingers crossed now x

Sounds similar to my mare. I had a physio out who gave me some good inhand exercises to do too. So might be worth trying to find one for your horse. I also do carrot stretches and leg stretches plus massage the hamstring with my fist as shown by the physio.
