If he's a bargey one then you could try Nick Passey, based at Embla Stud near Newport; he won't take any messing; have seen him turn some right awkward ones around.

My mare had three weeks with Ben at Severn Equus a few years ago (when I was unable to look after her rather than going to be backed, but she was a nappy little toad and it did her the world of good). No complaints about her standard of care, I have considered sending her back to him so he can break her to drive but that little plan has been put aside for the moment.

What about Clare al -Redha; she's based near Chaddesley Corbet; can totally recommend her? They stand Legrande, the buckskin stallion too.
