Starting from scratch - Yard

Whats the minumum size you would recommended for a washbox ? Its something i'm struggling with as i can't seem to find any information/guidance.

Mine's 12x12 - and I wouldn't have any smaller for my horses (up to 17.2 and big) - or youngsters (one of my 2 year olds objected to being hosed and put a hole in the roof!) It doubles up as a shoeing box.

That looks fantastic Lark, but I don't think it will be necessary with the number of horses we will have. If I was looking to build a bigger yard then it would be a must have.

Can anyone recommend the best way to do a heat lamp set up that doesn't cost the earth?
