I'm lucky enough to keep my beasties at home, the only problem then being they can get attatched to each other. I tried splitting the girls up yesterday one in field for an hour the other in the stable and both ran about squealing. Now if you take them to a show without each other they do not try to find each other or make a noise just get on with it, its annoying me! My mare has just turned 5 and when the other mare is there & trying to school you would think she has a crooked neck trying to keep the other mare in her sights, again after awhile will relax. My mum doesnt seem to see a problem (shes just a happy hacker, nothing wrong with that, apart from shes not asking for concentration from a baby!). I cannot afford £45 a week for livery thats the closest and mum says they'll cut up the field for 'winter' galloping about (the rest are in barley& doubt they'll be sewn with the rain). Any suggestions greatly appreciated thanks ooo ps. stables are gates inside a barn as building new house then deciding what stables so can STILL see & touch each other!
