... loanee didn't bother getting my horse's vaccs done (not to mention everything else!). She was due in Feb so a month over, so i take it i have to start over again?
Phoned vets quickly, the line was v bad and didn't quite get it all. I think they said i need flu tet and flu now. Then another in 21-90 days then wait 4 weeks then another flu then after that it's every year. Does that sound right? i've never had to start again before.

It is basically one then the second one in 6 weeks time and the 3rd one in 6 months time then annually from that date.

There is a set amount of days but it is roughly 6 weeks then 6 months.

I think you only need the tetanus and Flu for the first visit then just the flu for the second and third visits.

The actual number of days are 1st vacc, then 21-90 days until 2nd vacc, then 150-215 days until 3rd vacc. If you're starting a youngster for the first time we tend to do the first two vaccs 4w apart, because those two would both be flu/tet and the tetanus part needs to be 4w apart for the primary course to develop proper immunity. If the horse has been previously vaccinated then whether you need flu/tet or just flu depends on when your last tetanus booster was (because you are mainly restarting from a flu point of view). Hope that makes sense.
