He's in it full time, very limited grass, with the shettie atm, and has a handful of hay twice a day. Yet I'm filling two wheelbarrows a day with elephant poos. :eek: how does this work ?:confused: I "think" he's losing weight...

he's bullying the shettie into poohing exactly where he has so his poo looks bigger.... cos big poo's is manly dont you know!
 
well they do poo is the exact same area, but the shettie's are deffo separate. I may even treat you to some pics .. if |i haven't put my back out picking the damned stuff up ! :rolleyes:

If i stop giving him the hay, i know he'll jump out, but honestly :D
 
Aha, so he's not alone then...... i did think maybe he was drinking more water to bulk things out, but then the buckets not going down much...and they're firm. Each takes two scoops to get up (tmi sorry). He is very proud, as he checks my progress as I clean up....
 
He must be related to my mare! She is in a nice bare fatty paddock, but also does elephant poos! Massive piles (also of the two scoop variety!) and she likes to check over my shoulder that I'm doing a good job!
 
Well hes obviously getting enough fibre! I would be concerned if yhe was not doing many poos or they were loose or very hard. Ita amazing what they can find to eat on the barest looking paddock.
