and that if we want a dog, we should all own collies and labs because they NEVER do ANYTHING wrong (no offence to any collie or lab owners, but it is a sentiment which has been aired before, just using it as an example.

*tea-keyboard moment* pfft! The meanest dog I know (mean being the wrong word, but shorter than the more accurate "hasn't had a day's walkies or an ounce of training in its whole life and therefore is a bl00dy nuisance to all and sundry") is a collie, and my family have long since been disillusioned with the labs' reputation
