Steaming hay...I have finally got it sussed!

I bought a wallpaper steamer of ebay for a tenner, stuck the end in the bottom of the water but and they hay on top, and touch wood I think I have got the hang of it!

Think my problem was I was expecting the hay to be wetter than it was, so didn't think it had steamed, when actually it had

Anyway, I now have my nice steaming setup organised and no more freezing cold hay soaking for me

Thats exactly what I do - (stumbled on the idea on the web a couple of weeks ago) - I do about 8-9 nets per session, leaving each one in the 'steamer' for about 5-10 minutes - they do dry out afterwards but all the dust appears to have gone and the horses like it and are not coughing. It's a brilliant idea and has saved me loads of time and so much easier than soaking.
